85% of the framework of this Cub is constructed of laser cut plywood.  The wing panels shown in the photos are made mostly of 1/16" laser cut birch plywood with truss-style one piece laser cut ribs.   The wing is easily set up for completely concealed control installation and is extremely strong and very light for its huge size.

Like the rest of the framework, the wing struts come completely built.  The ends of the struts
are fitted with metal mounting plates that are glued and pinned into the ends of the shaped struts.  The vertical struts are bolted to the
main
struts by a scale-like system of
'U'-brackets and through bolts.  Everything
here was well thought out and engineered.

The tail group is beautifully built from a balsa core sheeted with laser cut plywood.  The whole assembly is held with two screws at the rear and two dowels at the front of the vertical fin fillet.  The tail group removes in one easy to transport piece.  They thought of everything!

feb11_18.jpg (11804 bytes) This is the BIGGEST giant scale Cub kit
(and the biggest pre-built kit)  offered anywhere.

If you're going to be a bear,
be a grizzly!

You will really turn heads with this one!
